Haiti! Man that is a new level of hurt!

Watching the pictures and videos come in was a whole new level disaster. When I saw the Katrina disaster unfold I was just pissed that the Government was taking so long to react. But even then it was just a normal disaster that happens based on where people choose to live. I lived through 4 hurricanes in one year in Florida before I decided enough was enough and moved to Georgia.

This is different, there has not been an Earthquake in Haiti for so long that people were caught completely unprepared. For some reason this disaster resonates with me enough that I overcame my cynicism and doubt as to whether the money would actually get there and donated anyway. To improve the odds that the money will get to Haiti I chose two charities. Personally, I think this is one where it will take help from everywhere to even make a dent in those peoples lives. Just my thoughts…
